Premarin Vaginal Cream – Conjugated Estrogen Relief for Menopausal Vaginal Dryness & Atrophy

What  is Premarin Vaginal Cream?

Premarin Vaginal Cream contains conjugated estrogens, a mixture of estrogen hormones derived from natural sources. It is used primarily for the treatment of vaginal and vulvar atrophy due to menopause. Estrogen helps relieve symptoms such as vaginal dryness, burning, itching, and painful intercourse (dyspareunia) caused by reduced estrogen levels in postmenopausal women.

🩺 Indications & Uses

Premarin Vaginal Cream is FDA-approved for:

  • Treatment of atrophic vaginitis due to menopause
  • Treatment of vulvar atrophy due to menopause
  • Relief from dyspareunia (painful intercourse) caused by vaginal atrophy

🧬 How It Works

Conjugated estrogens in Premarin bind to estrogen receptors in vaginal tissues, which stimulates the regeneration and thickening of the vaginal epithelium, increases natural lubrication, and improves blood flow. This results in decreased dryness, irritation, and discomfort during intercourse or urination.
